All that mileage takes its toll on your bike and, like us, they too need some love and attention now and again.
Regular maintenance can help keep your bike in good working order and in the long run keep costs down.
Whether you require one of the service packages or have a specific issue or request, it can all be catered for.
If you are unsure then I am here to help.
The process is simple:
- I listen to your concerns.
- I will then inspect the bike.
- Recommendations are made.
- Your bike is fixed to the agreed work list.
Bronze Service
£25
Full safety check:
- Frame inspected for damage
or wear. - Gears adjusted for smooth operation.
- Brakes and calliper adjusted for optimal operation.
- Chain checked for wear and lubricated.
- Drivetrain inspected for wear and damage.
- Bottom Bracket checked for play.
- Headset checked for play.
- Wheel and tyre inspection.
- Pedals cleaned, removed and regreased,
- Seatpost cleaned, removed and regreased.
Price excludes any additional parts and/or fitment required.
Silver Service
£50
Full safety check:
- Frame inspected for damage
or wear. - Gears adjusted and cables lubricated for smooth operation.
- Brake and calliper adjusted, cables lubricated (where applicable) for optimal operation.
- Chain checked for wear, removed, cleaned and lubricated.
- Drivetrain inspected for wear and damage, removed and cleaned.
- Bottom bracket checked for play, cranks removed.
- Headset checked for play, removed when required and adjusted where applicable.
- Wheel, hub and tyre inspection, both wheels removed and checked with minor truing, where required (in frame).
- Pedals cleaned, removed and regreased
- Seat Post cleaned, removed and regreased.
Price excludes any additional parts and/or fitment required.

Wheels
Tyre fitment... Wheel on bike - £12.50 / Wheel off bike - £7.50.
Tubeless tyre fitment with sealant... £18.
Replace inner tube... £5.
Mudguard fitment... £10.
Hub service (cup and cone, includes bearings)... from £17.50.
Hub service (sealed bearing)... from £22.50.
Drivetrain
Gear adjustment... £5.
Chain replacement... £7.50.
Gear cable fitment and tuning... from £10.
Cassette fitment... £10.
Fit new gear shifter and adjust gears... from £22.50.
Front mech fitment and adjust gears... from £16.50.
Rear mech fitment and adjust gears... from £18.50.
Pedal replacement... £5.
Brakes
Brake adjustment... £5 (excludes hydraulic brakes).
Brake cable fitment and tuning... from £10 (excludes hydraulic brakes).
Brake pad fitment... £7.50.
Hydraulic disc brake top up/adjust... £12.50 per brake.
Hydraulic disc brake full bleed... £20 per brake.
Disc rotor fitment... £10.
Frame
Headset adjustment... £5.
Headset replacement... from £15 (price may vary on model of bicycle).
Bottom bracket service and fit... from £15 (price may vary on model of bicycle).
Bike degrease and clean... £25.
Prices are for labour only and exclude cost of parts unless stated.
All bicycles are assessed and a cost estimate provided prior to any work being carried out.
Other services assessed and priced on request. Labour rate is £25 per hour.
I carry a small stock of parts. Specific items may need to be ordered or alternatively can be supplied for fitment.
